Sự khác nhau giữa raise và rise

Chức năng của từ
raise / raised / raised (transitive verb = ngoại động từ)
rise / rose / risen (intransitive verb = nội động từ)

Về nghĩa của từ

Raise + O: Nâng một cái gì đó lên vị trí cao hơn hoặc gia tăng nó

Ex:

- He raised his head from the pillow
- We were forced to raise the price

Rise: Chúng di chuyển từ một vị trí thấp hơn sang một vị trí cao hơn
Ex:

- She rose from the chair.
- The helicopter rose into the air.

Rise còn có nghĩa: “gia tăng về số hay lượng”
- Costs are always rising.
